There are numerous other ways you can help

  • Support our events

The kids love being part of our events and socialising with their friends outside of the classroom environment, but still have the security of being on the school grounds. Our events give them the opportunity to do just that through activities, interactive learning experiences and just good old fun. We really need your help to support the events and encourage your children to take part.

  • Volunteer

Offering to help before events or at other times during the year is so valuable.  It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you cannot come into school.  There are always jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. wrapping gifts, preparing raffle tickets etc.  We really couldn’t achieve what we do without the behind the scenes help that we receive.

  • Come up with ideas

We are always looking for new ways of fundraising and every idea will be discussed by the committee.

  • Specialist skills/talents

If you have a special skills or talent that we can utilise please let us know. This can be anything from face painting to band member, gardener to IT. We have a number of events planned and in the planning stage and your expertise would be extremely valuable.

  • Company Matched Giving

This is an informal albeit corporate arrangement between a company and their employee. Not all companies offer matched funding but those that do will pledge a sum of money relating to the amount their employee has raised for or donated to the charity of their choice.  Some organisations will match fund on a £ for £ basis, others will stipulate what they are prepared to give.

  • Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a tax relief which allows a charity to reclaim from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) the basic rate of Income Tax a donor has paid on their donation/gift. This means that as parents and other supporters, who are current UK tax payers, are eligible to Gift Aid their cash donations, which gives your PTA an extra 28p for every £1 donated.
